Please take the time to respond fully to the question. Reflect on and discuss how the technologies learned will help both you and your students.

Today I learned how to set up Remind101. This is a very easy way for me to contact parents and students. Sometimes parents don't see the messages on the Weebly, or they don't check their emails, but all of them will frequently check their phones. I predict that I would have fewer problems with late or missing assignments.

Today I learned how to upload a video to my website from Youtube. This will help my students be able to watch videos at home about concepts we are learning in class. I hope this will extend their learning and solidify the concepts we are learning.

I foresee students using this website for research and teachers for resources for teaching. Parents will have access to the media centers hours of operation in the media center and the contact me page. I will also use the remind me website for Battle Of The Books students to remind them of weekly meetings.

Well, I certainly learned how much better Weebly is than Google Sites. I will be switching over. I think I can actually use my website now as an instructional tool rather than just storage space. I also learned about Remind 101. I see the value, though I'm not sure I will use it. I think it would be very useful maybe just for major projects and requirements.

I learned how to add a contact page and link to it from my home page. I also learned how to create and manage a class in my remind101 account. These can be effective ways to communicate with parents.
I learned how to link from my website to a file. I was having a hard time thinking through that part so learning this was very valuable to me. I also learned how to hide a page right in my website and link things to it. I was able to link to websites beforehand, but couldn't wrap my brain around the file part.

I am excited to learn how to give the parents instructions through Skyward's message center on how to enroll in Remind 101. Last semester I only had students with phones access Remind 101. No parents were enrolled, so I was always sending reminder messages to the students as well as emails to the parents. Now I can kill two birds with one stone. I'm also excited about learning how to put in buttons, columns, text boxes, just the basics! I learned how to link today which I never could figure out on my own with my google website.

I have learned how to edit my mistakes and upload all manor of wonderful things. I'm going to link to lots of websites for extended learning at home. The parents/students make decisions for what to do for homework based on their child's needs and this will give lots and lots of options.

I learned how to set up Remind 101. I'm excited about this because my parents don't always check their emails. I have parents who don't regularly check their emails. But they do check text messages. I am not good at texting. (I am an idiot and I have an OLD phone.) But now I can send a text message from my computer. So I can see that this will be very helpful! I can do it and the chances of parents seeing the message is pretty good! Now maybe more parents will know what do do for their child's birthday treat...

Although I am just trying to re-certify, and not currently in the classroom, I can find so many uses for having a website. I created a family website, and a website for a small business I am starting as a fitness coach. I love the remind101, and can see using that a lot to people who join challenge fitness groups.
